【摘要】:Thismethodisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancegradingofcommercialshipmentsbecauseithasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforthispurpose.6.1.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,usethesamplesforsuchacomparativeteststhatareashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthesamelotofmaterialasthesamplesthatresultedindisparateresultsduringinitialtestingandrandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratory.Thetestresultsfromthelaboratoriesinvolvedshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,aprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Theappearanceofawovenorknittedfabricdependstoalargeextentonthesmoothness,cleanliness,andgeneralappearanceoftheyarnsfromwhichthefabricismanufactured.Instrumentsareavailableforthemeasurementofunevennessandforcountingnepsandotherimperfectionsinyarn,butthevaluesobtainedfromsuchtestsarenoteasilyintegratedintoanover-allexpressionforactualfabricappearance.Yarnappearancegradingaffordsadditionalinformationwhichthemanufacturerofwovenorknittedgoodsmay,throughexperience,correlatewiththeappearancetobeexpectedinfabricsmadefromtheyarns.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthegradingofsinglesspunyarnsforappearance.1.2Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytopliedyarns.1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents,therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcernsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
