【摘要】:ThispartofISO3651specifiesmethodsforthedeterminationoftheresistancetointergranularcorrosionofferritic,austeniticandferritic-austenitic(duplex)stainlesssteelsinmediacontainingsulfuricacid.Italsospecifiesthepurposeswhichmaybeassignedtothetest.Thetestmethodsincludedare:—methodA:the16%sulfuricacid/coppersulfatetest(MonypennyStrausstest);—methodB:the35%sulfuricacid/coppersulfatetest;—methodC:the40%sulfuricacid/ferricsulfatetest.Themethodsareapplicabletostainlesssteelssuppliedintheformofcast,rolledorforgedproductsandtubesandintendedforuseinamildlyoxidizingacidmedium(forexample,sulfuricacid,phosphoricacid).Unlessspecifiedintheproductstandard,themethodtobeused,A,BorC,shallformthesubjectofanagreementbetweentheinterestedparties.AnnexAgivesexamplesofapplicationofthethreemethodsonstainlesssteels.NOTE—Itisimportanttonotethattheresultofthecorrosiontestisonlystrictlyvalidforthecorrosivemediumusedinthetest.Itconstitutesabasisforestimatingtheresistancetointergranularcorrosionbutmaynotbeusedtocheckresistancetootherformsofcorrosion(generalcorrosion,pitting,stresscorrosion,etc.).Itisnecessaryfortheusertoadaptthespecifiedcorrosiontesttotheusewhichwillbemadeofthealloy.Thesetestshould,innocase,beconsideredasanabsolutecriterionofthequalityofthemetal.
